Greene Pet Waste Removal is a local owner-operated service based in Ruckersville. We serve Greene County, Charlottesville, and neighborhoods along the Route 29 corridor.
Your first cleanup is free. Pricing is set up front, so you know your rate before we ever come out.
You do not need to be home on service day. Friendly dogs are welcome to stay outside. We only ask that you keep any dog that has shown aggression inside during the cleanup.

Regular cleanup removes the waste. A monthly deodorizer treatment handles what is left behind in the grass.
We use Yard Odor Destroyer by Doo Doo Squad, an enzyme and bacteria formula that breaks down odor at the source instead of covering it up. The manufacturer states it is non-toxic and gentle on pets, grass, and plants. It works on natural and artificial lawns, patios, decks, concrete, gravel, and cat markings. Almond scent, no rinsing needed.
$25 per month. The treatment is applied during one of your regular cleanup visits, so there is no extra trip and no separate appointment. Your first treatment is $35, because it uses a stronger mix built for heavy odor.

Got cats too? Add litter box service to your yard cleanup. 1 box $15, 2 boxes $20, 3 boxes $25 per visit. Litter included. Just select it when you sign up.
Sanitized tools at every yard. We carry two rakes and alternate them, so the one just used gets its full disinfectant contact time while we work with the other. Tools are cleaned between every property with ProVetLogic Animal Facility disinfectant, EPA-registered and used in veterinary and kennel settings. Fresh bags, fresh gloves, and sanitized shoe covers at every yard.

Greene County & Ruckersville
Ruckersville is home base. If you live in Greene County, you’re in our core service area.
Deer Lake Estates: Right here in Ruckersville with larger lots and plenty of yard space. Big yards and dogs go hand in hand, and so does the cleanup.
Carodon: Just south of Ruckersville. Spacious properties with big backyards where dogs have room to run. We’re already in the area weekly.
Greenecroft: Another established Ruckersville neighborhood. If you’re here with a dog and a yard, we can easily fit you into the route.
Four Seasons: A well-known community right in the Ruckersville area. Close to home base and easy to service regularly.
Holly Hill: In the Barboursville/Ruckersville area with nice properties and good-sized yards. Right along our regular route.
Preddy Creek: Over in Barboursville on lots ranging from half an acre to three acres. With that much yard, waste adds up fast, especially with multiple dogs.
Creekside & Village at Preddy Creek: A growing community in Barboursville with new homes going up. Moving in and want one less thing to think about? We can get you started from day one.
Stanardsville: Just up Route 29. If you’re in the area with a yard and a dog, we can work you into the route.
Charlottesville & the 29 Corridor
The Route 29 corridor into Charlottesville is full of family neighborhoods with dogs in nearly every yard. We service these communities on regular weekly routes.
Forest Lakes: Nearly 1,500 homes across Forest Lakes North and South. Walking trails, cul-de-sacs, and a lot of dogs. Whether you’re in Springridge, Arbor Lakes, Ravenswood, or any of the sub-neighborhoods, we service the entire Forest Lakes community.
Dunlora: An established community off Rio Road with quiet streets and well-kept yards. We service Dunlora, Dunlora Forest, Dunlora Gates, Dunlora Park, and Dunlora Village.
North Pointe: A newer community on the 29 corridor with good-sized lots. We’re already working in this area and adding customers regularly.
Belvedere: Off Rio Road with walking trails, green spaces, and a dog park. If your dog is getting as much use out of the backyard as the dog park, regular cleanup makes a difference.
Hollymead & Brookhill: Between Forest Lakes and the airport, with a mix of established homes and newer construction. Plenty of dog owners in these neighborhoods who’d rather not spend their Saturday with a bag and a rake.

Do I need to be home during service? No. Most customers aren’t home when we arrive. As long as we can access your yard, we’ll handle everything. We love working around friendly dogs, so they’re welcome to stay outside. We only ask that if your dog has shown any aggression, you keep them inside during the cleanup. If you have a locked gate, share the code or leave it unlocked on your service day.
How does pricing work? Prices are real, not estimates. Enter your dog count, yard size, and frequency on the signup form and you’ll see your exact price in about thirty seconds. Most customers pay $90-140 per month.
What happens to the waste? By default, we bag it and place it in your curbside trash bin. If you’d prefer we haul it away, that’s available for an additional $5 per visit.
What if it rains or there’s bad weather on my service day? If severe weather makes it unsafe or impractical to service your yard, the visit will generally be moved to your next scheduled service day. You never pay for a visit that doesn’t happen.
Does my grass need to be mowed? We service your yard either way. Tall grass hides waste, so a freshly mowed lawn gets you a more thorough cleanup. If the grass is high on your service day, we clean what we can find and catch the rest on the next visit.
How does billing work? You’re charged after the work is done, never before. Invoices run monthly and cover the visits we actually completed that month, so you never pay for a visit that didn’t happen. If you’d rather be billed weekly, just ask and we’ll set it up that way.
Do you service multi-dog households? Absolutely. Enter your dog count and yard size on the signup form and the price adjusts automatically, so there are no surprises.
Is there a contract? No contracts. Your first cleanup is free. A card on file is required to book, and you won’t be charged until your first regular visit. After that you can adjust or cancel anytime with a call or text.
